Topic: Internet Marketing - 5 Steps to Customer Loyalty Surveys That Work - MSNBC

Thursday 20 November 2008

Be clear about what you’re hoping to accomplish with the survey, and you’ll be in great shape when it’s time to create it. Just design the survey using their simple point-and-click interface, enter the text for your questions, and then e-mail a link to your customers and subscribers. Most of these services also offer paid upgrades, which allows you to create more complex surveys and get more sophisticated reports, but for a typical small survey, the freebies work fine. If your goal is to improve a certain product, tell them that by taking the survey they’ll actually be helping you to help them because you’ll use their comments to fine-tune the assistance you can offer them. read more

Internet Marketing - Whither the Click? comScore Brand Metrix Norms Prove 'View-Thru … - MarketWatch

Tuesday 18 November 2008

It is the first product in the industry to measure the true impact of online ad exposures because it overcomes the deleterious impact of cookie deletion that other services ignore, and which can lead to an understatement of the actual view-thru impact of online ads by a factor of 20 percent or more. Online ad exposures also yield a lift in various important online behaviors, such as brand site visitation and trademark searches. The comScore norms data also show that online display ads can cause an increase in search queries that involve the advertiser’s trademark brand name. The norms data also show a substantial continued impact, with a 38- percent lift in trademark searches in the four weeks following the first ad exposure. UFC 91: Couture-Lesnar live blog - CNN International- About: Blogging

Monday 17 November 2008

Brock Lesnar dethroned Randy Couture in the second round. Had Couture got his way and finagled a fight against Fedor Emelianenko , tonight’s five-rounder really would have been the biggest, and not just UFC history, but the whole of MMA. Great first early grappling exchange, and Lesnar now knows he’ll have to work to keep Couture on his back. Lesnar landed a short elbow on the inside and Couture moved back. Couture falls to 16-9 while Lesnar improves to 3-1. read more

NWjobs | NWautos | NWhomes | NWapartments | NWsource | Classifieds | seattletimes. That won’t happen unless Federal Way gets a push against the Spartans (mark down Bothell as the only team to do that with any consistency this season). On defense, the Eagles need to find a way to make Jake Heaps uncomfortable to give their secondary a shot at defending Skyline’s spread offense. The Lancer defense and LB DeMario Carter probably don’t get enough credit, but that’s likely because Watson has scored 34 touchdowns this season, and Washington has added 12 more. Kentwood should be able to run against Issaquah, just as Marysville-Pilchuck did last week, but for the Tomahawks, it didn’t matter because they lost up front on defense. If Kentwood allows Issaquah to have space and time on offense, the Conquerors could find themselves quickly out of the game. read more

My superintendent wants a blog - ZDNet(Blogging)

Saturday 15 November 2008

Education Technology It’s actually a great idea - I wish I’d thought of it first. It came about as we were looking for a way to easily solicit public input on our strategic planning documents (a blog is an obvious choice, with each piece of the document posted separately), but it occurred to me that this was a great way to increase communications with the public. Even a weekly State of the District post would be good PR for us, as we strive to increase transparency and keep in touch with the community. Going further, the blog would be a great way for our curriculum specialist to post notes about grants and new programs or for me to keep the public up to date on changes in technology. As one of our selectmen noted to me last night, virtually every segment of the community now expects to be able to turn to the Internet for information. A significant web presence is hardly an option and tools like blogs and wikis help build content quickly and easily, opening up the site to people without any programming skill or experience. read more
