A number of anti-Obama blogs hosted by google’s blogspot were shut down , with notices saying, “This blog has been locked due to possible Blogger Terms of Service violations. Blogger has a little icon on the top of the screen that says “flag blog” and no one is really sure how many times someone has to flag it as spam before blogger automatically shuts the blog down until the owner of the blog sends an “unlock” request and then they are informed it could take days to fix the problem. Blogs like, Blue Lyon , which has been active for three years on blogger, and other pro-Hillary, Anti-Obama blogs that were part of the Just Say No Deal coalition and listed on their website. While we are still investigating, we believe this may have been caused by mass spam e-mails mentioning the “Just Say No Deal” network of blogs, which in turn caused our system to classify the blog addresses mentioned in the e-mails as spam. Many of the bloggers have moved their blogs to a new permanent home over on WordPress which offers free blogs and no one has been able to provide any conclusive evidence that blogger, google or Obama supporters had anything to do with the anti-Obama blogs being locked, yet the suspicions remain as does the anger as one blogger, Carissa Snedeker who owns Blue Lyon says, “What frustrated me was that Blogger didn?t give us the benefit of the doubt. Whether the specific blogs that it happened to was a coincidence, deliberate malice or simply a kink in google blogspot’s spam filtering software, there was obviously a problem that blogger is trying to deal with and one would hope that they would be looking at ways to see to it that this does not happen again. read more

Mirrors are also great for reflecting light and allowing your eye to travel through the wall, making your space feel larger. Many people consider their home small when they’ve moved from a bigger home or if they’ve added a partner or a child to the equation. The biggest tricks here are more lighting, indirect or below eye level when standing; light, bright walls and trim; a dark floor or a dark rug on a light floor to ground the space and provide a contrast to the light walls; having 10 percent of empty space in any closet, shelf, cabinet or room. read more

Months later, the bloggers are celebrating, days after the police raided the two neighboring homes in question, 346 and 348 93rd Street, between Third and Fourth Avenues, and arrested five people, including three brothers who lived there. But peering turned to blogging, and blogging turned to action, as neighbors started filing complaints with the 68th Precinct station house and attending Community Board 10 meetings and generally making noise until a narcotics investigation began, leading to the arrests. Hynes , announced the arrests on Wednesday, praising old-fashioned police work — “a fairly uncomplicated, unsophisticated operation. The suspects were identified as three brothers, Joseph Terrone, 54, Michael Terrone, 47, and Ross Terrone, 45, as well as Alan Reilly, 61, and Erica Raffone, 31. The Sprint Cup stars demonstrated today that road racing is not their bread and butter. The end of the 208 Toyota / Save Mart 350 saw way too many wrecks as both the Sprint Cup stars and the road racing ringers had trouble slowing down for the corners and keeping off of each other. Kyle Busch discovered that the best way to keep his car in one piece was to be in the lead.
