Having watched most of the second half of Clemson’s 83-74 victory over Long Beach State at the 76 Classic, it was apparent that the Bulldogs will have a difficult time against either team in a Sunday game. Robinson 25 points and 15 rebounds, Eugene Phelps 12 points and 10 rebounds, Casper Ware 20 points and 10 assists. Long Beach is coached by Dan Monson, the former Minnesota and Gonzaga coach. Monson referred a couple of times to Butler, so perhaps he expects Butler to lose to UCLA and meet Long Beach in the seventh-place game.
