Regardless of what the NCAA decides to do, to me this story reveals another serious issue at Michigan the relationship between coach and players. But with all of these players coming out and basically supporting Boren’s accounts, Michigan now appears to be a program that places unfair demands on players. Actually, I’ll bet that Bo utilized some of these “practices” and while violating NCAA rules would make his stomach turn, I don’t think he’d have a huge problem with Rodriguez driving his players. Rodriguez has clearly lost the respect of some of the players within the program if they’re willing to openly discuss their coach’s practices with the Free Press.
