Don Fisher, Business teacher at Solanco High School, recently invited local business owners to share their stories of successes and pitfalls with his senior high business students. As a result of the call, Dave Conklin of Quarryville, Steve Young of Lampeter and Rory Wilfong of Hempfield, visited Solanco High School to share their story and secrets for building a successful business on-line. The three are co-founders of ProspectMX, a worldwide internet lead generation business located in Lancaster as well as, GetMyHomesValue. With the expertise of the ProspectMX team the students learned even more about how to continue to build their businesses and even how to launch businesses on the internet using tools and resources available on-line (many of which are free). Conklin asked the students to engage in a brainstorming exercise to illustrate how the activities they participate in on a regular basis could be enhanced and improved through their business ideas.
