A Utah company that has been under scrutiny from state law enforcement officials for allegedly misleading customers about its Internet start-up services is bringing its 2009 Internet Marketing Conference to the St. Louis and nationwide have come from people who say the were drawn to a seminar by a promise of a free meal or gift and a chance to make money on the Internet, but ended up paying StoresOnline thousands of dollars for help in setting up Web sites.
